T. J. Samson Community Hospital (Glasgow, KY) chose PatientWorks eForms Automation Solution to eliminate pre-printed registration and clinical forms, while also producing bar-coded armband and labels for patient identification and safety improvements.

PatientWorks will integrate with the Hospital’s Health Information System (Siemens’s MS4) automating registration and clinical documentation workflows, producing bar-coded armbands to be used with bedside scanning solutions. T.J. Samson Community Hospital will also utilize PatientWorks to capture the patient’s electronic signature and photo to be displayed on the consents and armband, increasing patient safety and identification and improving registration workflows. PatientWorks will also electronically integrate the consents and photo to the Hospital’s EMR system (Streamline), auto associating to the patient record.

T.J. Samson Community Hospital is a 196-bed acute care facility, including 16 skilled-care beds. From newborns to grandparents, T.J. Samson Community Hospital has been an integral part of south central Kentucky’s health for nearly a century.

PatientWorks® provides a family of software that enables Healthcare Facilities to build print, merge and form-fill applications that combine data from the Hospital Information Systems (HIS) with user defined forms to produce automated and on-demand laser, fax, electronic or email (PGP Encrypted) output.
