Alamance Regional Medical Center selects PatientWorks Enterprise Solutions

Alamance Regional Medical Center, Burlington, NC has selected a patient identification and enterprise electronic forms automation solution from PatientWorks® to improve patient safety and enterprise document processes. PatientWorks® can integrate with any HIS, EMR or Imaging system to improve registration, ancillary and billing workflows.

Alamance Regional Medical Center is a 210 bed healthcare organization, committed to improving the health of the citizens of Alamance County and its surrounding communities. PatientWorks® will replace the existing card based solution with an enterprise e-forms automation solution for over 400 registration, clinical and back office documents. Alamance Regional is committed to patient safety and identification and will utilize the PatientWorks® Patient Data Manager to capture the patient’s photo for positive patient identification. Additionally, PatientWorks® will enable bed side label creation for specimen draws, positively associating patient, bar-coded label and specimen. The Downtime Registration module is planned for disaster situations - hurricanes, major accidents etc.
