The Hospital of Central Connecticut chooses PatientWorks as their eForms automation vendor.
The Hospital of Central Connecticut chose PatientWorks eForms Automation Solution to eliminate pre-printed forms and labels, automating the registration and clinical documentation processes.
PatientWorks will integrate with the Hospital’s Health Information System (McKesson) automating the registration and clinical documentation processes. By eliminating the cost of pre-printed forms, labels, embossers and imprinters, the solution will pay for itself in less then 12 months. Additionally, time savings in eliminating the manual processes will be substantial and patient safety and identification will be increased. The Hospital of Central Connecticut will also utilize PatientWorks for back office forms such as UB04s.
The Hospital of Central Connecticut is a 414-bed, 32-bassinet, acute-care hospital with campuses in New Britain and Southington. As a teaching hospital affiliated with the University Of Connecticut School Of Medicine, they provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery and a wide variety of specialties.

Nash Heath Care Systems (Rocky Mount, NC) chose PatientWorks eForms Automation Solution to eliminate pre-printed registration forms while also producing bar-coded armband and labels for patient identification and safety improvements.
PatientWorks will integrate with the Hospital’s Health Information System (Eclipsys) automating registration documentation and producing bar-coded armbands to be used with bedside scanning solutions. Nash Health Care Systems will utilize PatientWorks to capture the patient’s electronic signature on consents as well as capture the patient photo to be displayed on the armband, increasing patient safety and identification. PatientWorks will electronically integrate all forms, consents and photo to the Hospital’s Siemens Enterprise Document Management Solution, auto associating documentation to the patient record.
Nash General Hospital is a 280-bed acute care facility that began admitting patients in 1971.
