With our PatientWorks 4 release, we introduce KioskWorks, our full-featured kiosk for appointment check-ins, wayfinding, staff directories, and almost anything else you can think of. This was our first foray into Microsoft’s new WPF and it’s been an interesting learning experience. WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) is a whole new method for doing window layout and design. The ease with which it lets us attractively reskin windows and controls is impressive and exciting. We’re looking forward to what we can do with it in the future.--PatientWorks Lead Developer, Tim Gemma
