History

In 1999, as a response to emerging electronic healthcare record technology, we developed a leading edge enterprise document automation software solution and created PatientWorks as a division to sell, market, and service this new software.

PatientWorks is currently implemented in over 75 healthcare facilities across the US.

In 2009, work began to create a leading-edge patient self-service kiosk solution built upon the integration and forms management capabilities of the PatientWorks platform.

The KioskWorks module was first implemented in early 2010 and was released as GA software in mid 2010.

CheckinWorks was released in late 2010 as a response to the desire of the healthcare market to facilitate the patient check  in process from a kiosk or tablet PC.

With the implementation of KioskWorks and/or CheckinWorks, healthcare organizations can essentially automate the processes behind and in front of the registration desk to provide a complete patient interface to the entire check in process including:

  • Enterprise forms completion and management.
  • Signature capture.
  • Patient authentications.
  • Insurance verification.
  • Co-pay authorization and collection.
  • Update patient information including demographics, insurance data and other information.
  • Collect other patient information needed in the form of a Q & A session whether driven by medical necessity or regulatory requirements.
